Pre-existing Medical Conditions
If you have a pre-existing medical condition, you can still purchase insurance with Planet Earth.
Please note the following guidelines:
- Complete the Medical Health Declaration on screen.
- Purchase your Planet Earth policy.
- Telephone the Medical Screening Helpline on 0870 737 5843 to apply to extend your policy to cover you for the pre-existing medical condition(s).
- Based upon the information you supply, the Medical Screening team will decide whether or not to offer cover for that condition. If they do offer cover, they will quote you an additional premium and you can then decide whether or not to purchase the extension.
- Please note that no claim arising directly or indirectly from any pre-existing medical condition(s) affecting you or anyone named on the policy will not be covered unless you have declared them to us and we have accepted them for insurance in writing.
- Failure to declare all pre-existing medical conditions that are relevant to the insurance may invalidate the policy.
